Hi. I am Kumi. (ENG - JP)

Sharing stories has some healing effects and it allows me to feel more… Through my losses, I’ve learned that feeling the feelings is the only way for me to cope and move forward, so I decided to talk about my journey of grief and loss and many other things. So yes, this is a place for me to become vulnerable but at the same time, I become real as well. I’m happy to share. It’s not just the death that we experience grief from. We experience all kinds of losses, changes and adjustments here and there… and grief is ultimately necessary in our lives to feel joy and love… But grief is powerful.. And it is something we hardly ever talk about. So I’m here to talk more! I will be doing this podcast in two languages - English and Japanese. Last but not least, if you’d like to share your stories of loss and grief, please send me a message! ストーリーを共有することは私にとって癒しの効果があり、感情を感じる機会がもらえます。今までのロスを経験して私が学んだことは、感情を感じることで歩みを踏み出すことができるのだ、ということです。なので、私のグリーフ、ロス、他にも歩む道のりをこの場で話そうと決めました。感情を感じること、まだまだ模索中ですが、これが私の旅路です。この場は私が脆弱になる場ですが、同時に私がリアルになる場所でもあります。「死」のみがグリーフをもたらすわけではなく、私たちは人生におけるロス、変化、調整を経験することでグリーフを経験します。私たちの人生には愛や喜びを感じる上でグリーフは必然的な存在なのです。でもグリーフはとてもパワフルだし、日常的に話すようなことがあまりありません。だからここでもっと話したいです。このポッドキャストは英語と日本語の二か国語で配信されます。もしこれを聞いてくれいるあなたが、ご自身のグリーフやロスを共有してくださるなら、大歓迎です。一緒にポッドキャストで話すこともできますし、匿名をご希望であれば、エピソード内でご自身のストーリーを読み上げることも喜んでさせていただきます。
